Over the past several weeks, and gaining in intensity the past few days, we have seen a parade of excellent diaries from Hillary supporters grace the rec list, all calling for unity. It is truly fascinating reading how different people come to terms with and then cross the threshold into a whole new political reality. What was once a dreaded possibility, the loss of one's favorite candidate, is now seen as a source of strength for a revitalized party. And what is surely viewed by the Republicans as an ominous developement is taking center stage right here at MyDD and we are paving the way. For instance, after a several month absence, during my first foray back to DailyKos yesterday, the number one rec'd diary by CaptUnderpants revealed:

Yes, "the end is near." But what I mean by that is the end of the primary contest is upon us, and we will have our nominee in a matter of days now. First and foremost, I believe Hillary should accept the decision of the RBC, and move on to the final phase of the campaign which is the last remaining primaries, the last remaining superdelegates committing, one way or the other, and the winner emerging. It is apparent that the winner of our historic primary contest to become the Democratic nominee and the next President of the United States will be Barack Obama. I accept that, and I turn the page...
